DEVELOPMENTS
The hospital started as a 4-bed clinic in a rented house.
The present 25-bed hospital was completed in May, 1990.
SERVICES RENDERED
The hospital provides 24 hours/day, 7- days -a -week out-patient and in-patient services. Over 300,000 patients have been registered for treatment in the hospital since inception. The hospital sees about 400 outpatients every week.
We handle patients from mainly Plateau, Nassarawa and Taraba states.
The hospital renders medical, surgical, paediatric, O & G, immunization, ENT, reproductive health, laboratory, radiographic, ultrasonographic and other medical/health services.
Wards include 1 maternity ward, 2 amenity wards, 1 children’s ward, 1 male ward, and 5 general wards.
STAFFING
The hospital has since inception has employed hundreds of workers, including doctors, nurses, laboratory scientists, ward attendants, receptionists, etc.

5 community health workers
6 attendants
5 medical records officers
1 laboratory scientist
4 laboratory technicians
2 X-ray Technicians
OTHER ACTIVITIES OF OUR HOSPITAL
- Our doctors and nurses undergo frequent training from agencies to which we have attachment for rendering of free services. The agencies include APIN (HIV/AIDS), LTR (TB), SHOPS(Family Planning).
- The hospital has monthly staff seminars at which we have Powerpoint academic presentations for in-house continuing professional training.
